01405 455 018Escape of Water (EoW) is a hugely important aspect of flood detection, damage mitigation, and risk prevention. Smart sensors can collect accurate, real-time data that can be integrated with other devices and systems for always-on oversight.
Sensors react immediately when higher than anticipated levels of moisture are identified or if water makes contact with the sensor, providing rapid wireless communications through cloud-enabled transmissions to alert the necessary personnel.
Our advanced leak detection systems also continually scan and provide automated system health checks, which confirm that the sensors and detectors are working optimally. This provides peace of mind that your food detection controls are operating as expected.

Any presence of water, leaks, or moisture is detected quickly with sensitive sensors that can activate an alarm even when a very small amount of liquid or tiny water droplets are present.

Our EoW sensors take up minimal space and are the smallest advanced water detection solutions on the market – meaning that capacity within the target area is never a consideration.

Rather than assuming your flood detection is operating smoothly, our EoW solutions provide ongoing confirmations, offering the assurance that water is not present and monitoring is live.

Sensors can be placed in any desired area without any complex integrations or screws. Instead, sensors come with a ready-to-use commercial-grade adhesive for bespoke and quick placement.

Flood detection sensors are fitted with a high-quality battery with a 15-year lifespan and utilise end-to-end encryption to ensure system health verifications or warnings are transmitted safely and securely.

Each device is engineered with IP68-accredited casings, ensuring that your sensors and detectors are robust, impervious to water damage, and will continue to function for extended periods.
Up to 200 detectors with a communication range of up to 1,300m may be assigned to specific spaces in Ajax apps.
EoW flood detection can protect against water ingress of any nature – including where chemicals, fluids, liquids or coolants are stored within a system, unit or container, and you need a reliable, immediate way to detect if there are any leaks, however minimal.
These advanced systems can also monitor for water ingress entering a room, zone, building or specific area of high risk. This ensures that responders can react instantly, protecting vital infrastructure or inventory and identifying and repairing the issue.
Among the many applications, flood detection is used to safeguard against the following eventualities:
Significant Water Damage:
Leaks and floods can arise due to burst and cracked piping, damaged air conditioners, faulty sprinklers, drainage issues, and rising groundwater. These need to be tackled quickly to prevent costly repairs.
Undetected Leaks or Water Ingress:
Most instances of leaks or moisture occur gradually, but leaving the smallest leaks unaddressed over time can have severe consequences, making a quick and targeted reaction pivotal.
Business Interruption:
Depending on the nature of your business, leaks or contaminations, humidity, and inventory damage could contribute to considerable delays, costs, and productivity issues. Most businesses see a loss of earnings due to pauses in production or operations.
Electrical Fires and Systems Outages:
Humidity and condensation-impacted electrical wiring can be a serious health and safety risk, in the worst cases leading to short-circuiting equipment, fires, and a threat of electric shock to personnel.

Flood detection is relevant to a wide range of sectors. Still, as with all services, we recommend a consultation to discuss your risks and concerns before making suggestions about the right set-up for your business.
There are varied configurations and systems, alongside custom sensor placements, that may provide optimal protection against flooding, leaks and water ingress:
Clearway is a sector-leading provider of targeted, customised security services for businesses and commercial enterprises across the industries. We focus on leveraging the latest technological advancements to protect property, people, and assets.
