UK shop vacancy rate declined to 14.4% in the final quarter of 2020. This was the first time that the number of shuttered shops fell since the start of 2018.<\/p>\n

The data also reveals that shopping centre vacancies improved to 19.1% in the quarter while high street vacancies improved slightly to 14.4%. Meanwhile, retail park vacancies remained at 11.3% in the period.<\/p>\n
