Both options are available. As well as our mounted hydraulic crane on a lorry, we can use a Moffett M8 30.3 forklift which is trailer mounted. The Moffett M8 allows access areas that are harder to reach, so it is possible to provide blocks to most areas of your property or site if there are suitable conditions. The forklift can reach harder places that the crane lorry would not be able to.

We can send either 10 blocks or 6 blocks per delivery (each weighing 2.5 tonnes). If you need additional blocks for a larger order, we can use multiple vehicles. Fitted with an integral Moffett M8 30.3 as a forklift truck (trailer unloading) as well as a hydraulic crane (crane unloading), we’re able to position and deliver concrete blocks anywhere.

We provide a large range of concrete blocks for many different situations. A site-survey or an initial conversation will take place to establish the needs of your site and discuss a solution. Our barriers include Jersey, temporary, interlocking blocks, concrete blocks with Heras fencing and pre-cast concrete. Our surveyor will examine any potential risks on the site and find the best appropriate solution.

Concrete blocks can be delivered on weekdays, deliveries usually take place later or earlier in the day to avoid busy traffic and hold-ups. Our office is always available during usual office hours (weekdays), but if an emergency occurs, you can contact us out-of-hours.

Concrete blocks can be bolted together end-to-end to provide a stable and strong barrier. However, if the ground isn’t flat or stable enough, this would not be possible. In most cases, we use M24 steel bolts which are heavy-duty and fitted on the inside of the blocks.

Usually, our clients opt for 2.5 tonne blocks as they’re suitable for most projects. We can however provide blocks ranging from one tonne through to a five-tonne block if needed. Please bear in mind that the higher the weight of the combined blocks (when bolted together), the more difficult/laborious they are to move.

We audit all of our subcontractors and make sure that every installation is made to a higher standard. Due to our quality control process, every installation and removal is photographed and make sure that we deliver as part of the agreement and specification.

We can provide concrete blocks which contain plants for more of an aesthetic look. The functionality stays the same, but the barrier’s appearance will look more aesthetically  pleasing yet a discreet security measure.

Depending on the ground conditions, the blocks can be placed on most surfaces. We will consider the height limits and always secure every site individually. We evaluate the possible access points, which might not be obvious. Vulnerable points of access might be achieved through grass verges, through breaking through fence lines or other vulnerable areas. This might increase the rental cost of the job, but the price of the removal of fly-tipping or fixing any damage could be a much larger cost; therefore, the extra cost is worthwhile.

In most cases, we will offer site surveys before the installation, which can be executed by looking on Google Earth or clients can send us photos to refine any requirements or situations. A lot of detail is needed before an installation as final positioning and locations are crucial, including to know if pedestrian or vehicle access is needed. Clearway will notify you of any subjects of weakness for you and assess security hazards you might not have realised or considered.

It is possible to supplement concrete barriers with gates. Customers usually require physical security for entrance/exit or full perimeter but with the capability to have controlled access for pedestrians or vehicles. We install and supply our own gates, in different lengths from 3 to 4.5 metres, which are designed specially to connect to our concrete blocks. The blocks and gates can be installed on the same day that they are installed.
