Background
Following a forced intrusion which resulted in a significant loss of stock at a substantial cost, Metelec, the most prominent copper manufacturer in the UK reached out to Clearway for expert recommendations.
Solution
Based on our advice, a custom upgraded package was created which encompassed all the standard security systems with remote monitoring such as alarms, entry doors, CCTV cameras, perimeter fencing and railings. We also identified the need for enhanced security solutions, which included automatic anti ramraid gates and bollards and a 10m sliding gate, that necessitated considerable preparation of the land prior to installation.
Outcome
The client’s security needs were always our top priority, and with the installation of all of the above and the added peace of mind of remote monitoring, we were confident this has been achieved to the highest standard. The client is now satisfied they have a site that is protected 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with the assurance that any intrusions will be actioned swiftly by monitoring operatives at our NSI Gold Cat II Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The client was so impressed with our professional service they treated the installation team to lunch offsite as a token of appreciation.
Following an assessment of their site, Metelec’s insurance provider confirmed that the security systems installed exceeded their expectations and resulted in a reduction in Metelec’s insurance premium.
