Background
One of our account managers visited a premises in Norwich to conduct a Clearway 360 Risk Assessment following forfeiture, following reports of unauthorised entry.
Solution
On checking the status of the unit a potential issue with a broken window handle was identified, meaning the window couldn’t be locked. A call was immediately put in to the Clearway team.
Clearway’s team carried out property clearance, an electrical isolation and drain down was also done to reduce fire and flood risk. Clearway produced a full report with further recommendations, such as taking over alarm systems of the void premises.
Warning signs erected to deter potential intruders and fortnightly VPIs began immediately.
Outcome
Following Clearway’s intervention the vacant property remained secure, without any further intrusions, and met all insurance requirements.
