The Client

One of our established clients, one of the UK’s leading property management companies, who currently receives regular void property inspections was alerted immediately when one of our inspectors attended their unit to find someone inside the building.

Case Study

Clearway communicated with the client having found forced entry and evidence of the individual sleeping in the unit.

Our client instructed us to re-attend with enforcement agents to carry out full risk assessment, serve relevant notices and resecure the unit.

Our officers and locksmith re-attended the property same day, on arrival they completed a full assessment of the parameter finding that a fire exit as well as the front door had been compromised.

The unit was found to be unoccupied at the time of attendance, a thorough search of the building was completed including a roof cavity to ensure no one was inside.

Outcome

The locksmith worked to secure the open fire door and changed the locks on the front of the building.

Client was delighted to be informed the unit was now clear, resecured and that our team used the inspection detail to ensure everything remained in place for future access without disruption.
